With my birthday soon upon me, a handful of well wishes arrived via a variety of platforms: phone, text, Facebook, Twitter. I received more communication than I expected given my 2022 hermit existance.

I've somehow allowed myself to be lured back into hobby hacking. I think with so many people in the house now, when I hide in my room, it just seems to be something to pass the time.

Tomorrow, I plan to go to the desert to do a vision quest, despite my lack of peyote. Perhaps I'll settle for whiskey and staring at the stars.

I need guidance from the Old God. I need some way forward to something.
